Private Eye

Investigator

There are many questions that arise before hiring a private eye. We hope to shed some light on the process so that future clients may be more informed when it comes time to make the decision.

What Does a Private Investigator Do?

Are Private Investigators Legal?

Private investigators are 100% legal according to the Private Detective Act of 1939. As long as their investigation process does not violate any other laws, they are lawful.

What Will I Get When I Hire a Private Eye?

We can not speak to how other private investigators operate, however, below is a detailed description of what you will get if you choose to hire Premier Enterprise Services as your investigator.

What Can One Expect From Investigator Services?

The six step process below should answer all of the remaining questions.

What to Expect- The Process

Step 1: Make the Call

The first step is contacting us by making a phone call or emailing us. Our information can be found on the contact page.

Step 2: Sign the Agreement

Depending on what services you seek, we would need a signed agreement. We specialize in surveillance services, therefore, in most cases we would have you sign a surveillance agreement. This can be delivered by email, printed, filled out, scanned, signed, and sent back. For those without scanners you may print it, fill it out, sign it, take a clear picture with your phone/mobile device, and send it back through email. There is also the option of meeting in person, however in the post Covid-19 age, most clients prefer not to meet in person.

Step 3: Planning and Payment

The client needs to give serious thought as to when certain things are occurring. Whatever behaviors the private eye is being hired to monitor, the client needs to think about when exactly they are happening. The investigation has the best chance of success if we focus on those times. In many cases, it is known by the client exactly when the suspicious behaviors are, so this can save hours and money. Sometimes, there is no way to really know and we need to put in more time. This is an investment which must be made to find information. Once we have a solid plan in place it is time to complete the payment.

Step 4: Provide Information and Scheduling

Critical information for the case such as locations, descriptions of individuals, photos, vehicle information, social media information, case background, and anything we may find useful in the field must be given to the investigator at this point. It may be emailed or given in person.

Step 5: Surveillance/Investigation

Whatever services we perform for you, we will always keep you updated throughout the entire process. The latest, most common, and convenient way is for us to send real time updates and photos when possible through text message. The client will need to provide us with a phone number they are comfortable receiving text updates regarding their investigation. This allows them to be informed and to be in direct communication with the investigator. It keeps the client in control of the investigation until its conclusion. It also affords the possibility of making adjustments on the fly. For example if you wish to move locations or add hours to the surveillance.

Step 6: Investigation Conclusion

After the investigation is over you will be provided with a professionally prepared report with photos. We will also supply you with all of the surveillance video we recorded in the field during the investigation. Once we conclude the surveillance investigation and the six step process is complete, this makes it much easier for future surveillance. Hopefully we have found all the information you needed and accomplished all of your case goals at this point. However, many cases are ongoing and require the constant gathering of information.
